Norwegian Brooch mystery signed "J" ? then 830S

I can't find this in the list of Norwegian makers and surely it's Norwegian with the design of the pin or brooch, in addition to the 830S. Click on photos to enlarge. Also are the hanging discs just gold plated?

the type of brooch is called a 'solje' and is a traditional piece of Norwegian jewellery.

The brooch is made by Sylvsmidja on Voss, Norway. They are specialist on norwegian folkcostumes jewellery.
