Scandinavian Cufflinks - can you help identify?

Postby Laurie G » Thu Apr 19, 2007 6:38 pm

Hello, I am not certain if I have correctly identified these cufflinks, and would like confirmation of my findings.
Please advise me of your interpretation. Thanks for your time and consideration. Laurie

C.C. Sporrong & Company also imported items and stamped them with its trademark.
The Swedish triple crown mark in an oval indicates your cufflinks were imported.
Don't know who made your cufflinks, but Sporrong did import some jewelry from Finland.

Thanks for the quick reply. It appears to me that these were perhaps military buttons made by C.C. Sporrong & Company and were converted to cufflinks. The S mark - is that indicative of the year?

Hi Laurie.

The "S" mark is always part of the Swedish state mark.
It is not a date letter.

Pat.
