Hi,
There is a serious issue in the assay mark; 1874 is slanted (sloping, leaning) from left to right,i.e. does not follow the horizontal line. Number 7 looks like 1 and number 4 is of very unusual form. There are many examples of 1874 with B.C initials and none of them is even close to this.
Maker should be Vasiliy Dmitriev, but I doubt the authenticity of the cross; looks like sand cast.
Authentic 1874 mark shown to compare with.
