vintage hatpin need marks identified please

Hi.
I have this antique silver hatpin. I have figured out that one of the marks is a lion, but the middle mark looks a bit like a crown or castle and the last mark is a G.
Is anyone able to help figure out the year or place of manufacture?

I think you are right -- and it is either 1803, 1825 or 1890 -- probably 1803 because the G has solid lines.

So far, so good, but can't be 1803 or 1825, because it is lacking an additional mark required during those times. You can also find your maker on the Chester page. Let us know how it goes.

Also the style of the hatpin is such that later in the 1800's is much more fitting. It looks like turn of the century to me.
Lambchop are you the tiara collector I have seen on other forums? If so congrats on your new aquisition.
