I am interested in any information about the maker of this belt and the occasions for which it was intended.

Hi,
It is wedding belt (HOCHZEITSGÜRTEL).Her maiden name is engraved bellow, as indicated by ``geb.`` (geboren - born).
No clue in regard of the country of origin (no town mark).

Thank you! My father gave it to my mother (in the 1950s, not in 1802) so that in some ways makes sense.
