I believe this is an imported bracelet (in 1998 to Birmingham) but I have been unable to find anywhere, the Mark LI, and I also want to be sure I have the other info correct

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I can confirm that you have read the hallmark correctly - Birmingham import mark, 1998. Unfortunately the assay offices do not, in general, publish details of sponsors' marks so you will have to contact Birmingham Assay Office directly.

Thanks so much for the speedy reply!
Might be the first one I’ve ever gotten correct haha. That’s a shame about the assay not listing them but I shall get in touch. Will that Mark tell me the country of origin, or just the person in Birmingham who imported it, do you know?
Thanks

You will only get the name of the "sponsor", who is the person (or company) who sent the piece to the assay office for testing. This may be the importer or retailer; there is no way of telling. There may be a fee for this identification service.
