Ring marked 14ct 925 with S / Swirl mark

This ring is very curious to me. Does Great Britain or European makers use CT for gold instead of K or KT. Anyone recognize the mark? The stone looks clear, blue, and iridescent all at once. I was thinking maybe it was a type of moonstone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
