Hi, i have acquired some old (maybe early 20th C) Russian Silver earrings. They are Russian Nephrite Jade in a 875 silver setting. I have been trying to figure out the hallmark. There is mark consisting of a number and two letters: '2 C Ю', which could be an artel number, but I am not sure. Then there is another mark (a 'C' a hammer and sickle and the 875 mark). I am not really able to discern the third mark. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

This mark was introduced in 1958 (May 7).
Reference:Postnikova-Loseva No 3952,letter C in front of the star is the code for Sverdlovsk region assay office.

thanks, that's really useful. I was wondering, is the star for Ekaterinburg the one around the hammer and sickle or is it the third mark? Also, is there any date mark?

I think it is 1972 (2 in front of СЮ)

There is another one punch (third mark) at earring. Perhaps, it is import mark of Czechoslovakia
