silver brooch: leaf clover

I'm looking for some information about the maker and the age of this little silver brooch.

Hi Anja,

That would be a shamrock rather than a clover as it is Irish.

The brooch was assayed at Dublin in 1978. I'm afraid the maker is unknown to me.

I see I've missed the finenesses of the british flora and language. So it is an irish shamrock and not an english leaf clover. ;)

The maker is Tara Ware Limited, Dublin. The company was set up in September 1995. Specialized in enameled jewelry inspired by illuminated manuscript (the book of Kells).

It`s current info on Tara Ware Limited.They must have existed before 1995 because of many items made earlier (and the date letter here.
