Sorry for the lack of info, but I was told this piece is a "bracelet from Italy purchased in the '70's, with a matching necklace." I'd like to identify the maker and find the matching necklace so I can buy the necklace for the owner of the bracelet (not a romantic interest, a dear friend). She lost the necklace at some point (I can't remember the story about that, my brain is a sieve... what was I saying?) and she would like to find it again to match the bracelet. If it ends up being absurdly expensive, I have a feeling she'd be very happy just to have more information about the piece. Thanks in advance for any help!

Also, I searched this forum as well as a number of silver stamp images and I couldn't find anything. Because this may be a one-off info request on this forum, I did my best to "pay it forward" beforehand by sleuthing the "Ed Harris" mystery. That clasp looks more modern to me. I haven't seen something like that in pre 1990s jewelry.

It has a QVC vibe to me. Does the gold on it look plated or solid?

I have gold chain clasps of this type with clear Austria-Hungary marks. Also seen on Victorian chains and watch fobs, genuine, not replaced.
Unfortunately, cannot identify the maker.
