Pocket Watch Fob with Chester Essay Mark

I bought a pw fob it has Chester essay office stamp and N date letter goes back to 1896. I would like to know who the maker might be? Your help shall be much appreciated. Maker's mark is CES without stop.

Your maker is most probably Charles Edward Soloman a jeweller who traded from 50 Vyse Street Birmingham at the time your piece was made.
