help with this hallmark

I was given this ring abouth 15 years ago by a family friend
from what i can make out from the hallmark its made by arthur crosbee & son
other than that i cant make out any more info
so the hallmark is A.W.C&S:18CT PT
and a smaller one - F956
Any help would be appreciated as ive tried to get it valued and neither jewellers recognised the hallmark
