This Jugendstil medaillon weighs about 30g and contains two mirrors. It is marked with moon, crown, 800 [maker's mark] WM.
I know, that it is made by Wilhelm Müller. Wilhelm Müller is a trader that has started in 1847 in Berlin (Germany). Until the end oft the second world war the firm was presented as well in Pforzheim and Schwäbisch Gmünd. Later on, the branch office in Berlin (east) had to be given up. Wilhelm Müller is still active in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

I know about the company, but I have no idea about the maker/ designer of my pendant. I've mailed with the company, but they don't have any information more due to the bombings during the WWII.

Can anybody help me to identify the maker's mark? Or does anybody know, where I could get an hint? This would be really great!
Thanks a lot,
Luci

Hi Luci,

A friend informs me that Wilhelm Müller were basically wholesalers. The maker in this case was Carl Forster & Graf of Schwäbisch Gmünd.
