Dutch marks on Georg Jensen design?

Trying to help out a friend; she has this brooch that is obviously a Georg Jensen of Denmark design, but with mysterious marks on the back. It looks to me like possibly the Dutch sword mark, but the "M2" is confusing me, and we can not make out the third mark. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Volpone,

Silver Art Nouveau brooch with Dutch hallmark, the sword small or standard mark for silver minimum 833 fineness used 1906-1953. An imported or Dutch made brooch, the M2 (in rectangle with angular stripes) indicates assay Office city of Schoonhoven used 1931/1984. In the middle, the importer’s or maker’s mark, the mark unfortunately is not clear.

I am beginning to think the third mark may be "HH;" is it possible that the mark may be that of the importer rather than the maker? The brooch is definitely a Georg Jensen design.

The piece lacks any George Jensen marks, made by Hooijkaas in the style of.

Jensen designs have been copied by other manufacturers for decades...this same bird (along with others) was also shamelessly appropriated by Coro for their 1940s 'Norseland' line.

Hi,

The Brooches, most probably have been offered to the Schoonhoven Assay Office as a half fabricate, for reason of convenience, perhaps interlinked, made out the same sheet of silver, to be assayed and tested and after it past the tests, marked M2 for Schoonhoven, 2nd standard of silver. Later the finished and separate brooches were returned to the Assay Office for hallmarking, after a visual inspecting of the brooches and M2 marks and without further assaying, the sword hallmark has been applied
