Unknown origin of silver pocket watch

Postby techsol » Sat Mar 09, 2013 2:21 am

Hi,

I would appreciate any help on identifying the origin of this silver goliath pocket watch.

It features a makers mark of PS, along with a 0.935 fineness mark and what looks like 2 marks of a lion along with a 3rd lion mark that is much smaller. I presume this is continental, but as I am unsure of the country of origin I have listed the query in this forum (admin please move if identity of origin is known).

Regards,
Martin.

Hi Martin,

The marks are Swiss. See: http://www.925-1000.com/foreign_marks2.html
