Jugendstil German necklace

Postby ktiggeloven » Sun Dec 09, 2012 4:48 am

Hi fellow forum members,

I added a very beautiful jugendstil silver and lapis lazuli necklace to my collection. I am however not familiar with the makers mark. It is marked with chützt (which I think is a not fully executed geschützt), 800 and a double scales. If anybody could help me with this piece, it is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help. Kind regards,

Kasper

Hello, tend to believe that this is the mark of Robert Dyckerhoff from Pforzheim, Germany. The scales he used look much like this one. Agree that the word is a badly punched "Geschützt". Best wishes, Bahner

Hi Bahner,

Thanks for the info. I already thought it might be a piece from the pforzheim area. Do you know any books where I can find more info on Dyckenhoff by chance.
Thanks in advance
