My mother in law brought this beautiful pin to me when she was visiting last week. She is aware of a bit of the history, that it was a gift received by a great grandfather in the family, whom had been a goldsmith in Norway. She has asked me to see if I can find out the creator of this pin, but in my searches I have been unable to match the makers mark ME (?) successfully. I am also a bit puzzled, because it does not state "830S" as I have seen others do, but only "830". It appears to be tarnished silver with bronze spoons, and is approximately 1.5" wide.
