I've looked but cant find :(

Can anyone give me ANY information on this item? My friend found it whilst metal detecting near to Carrisbrook Castle on the Isle of Wight.
I have looked in all my Hall mark books and the closest I can get is the Lion, that I think is from Glasgow but cant find the shield in which it's sitting!?
Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

It's a Norwegian brooch, missing its pin and whatever was set into the front (perhaps an enameled shield?) - made by Norsk Filigransfabrikk, believe that mark was used late 19th-early 20th century: http://www.925-1000.com/Fnorway_marks3.html#1
