Unknown Croatian Piece

I have recently came across this piece , all i know about it is that it's Croatian.

I have no idea what it's made of or the date of it or what it is used for.






It is marked on the back - ODOBRENJE 26/56 - AUBO OR AUPO METAL (cant make out what the third letter is either a "B" or "P" or maybe even a "R".

Also in small letters it says OBOTICA.




Any help will be appreciated.
