Hello

Welcome to the forum.

Your little broche was some time before imported to Finland.

Mark of gothic kk in a circle could be artists sign or maker’s mark.

The row of marks below needle area:

KK = Maker’s or Importers Mark?
Crown (in an oval) = Finnish Import Mark
916H = fineness of 935/1,000 (H = Hopea [“Silver” in Finish]; Similar to S = Silver)
Boat = Symbol of Helsinki Assay Office
… = Date letter of year and Date cipher of cycles (e.g. B6 = 1931)

Kind regards silverport

Hello,
The mark image is small so it is difficult to tell, but I don't think that is a Finnish import mark, more likely the regular national mark.
The top kk mark is for Kalevala Koru of Helsinki, the lower backward/forward KK is for Kaunis Koru of Helsinki. Kaunis became a subdivision of Kalevala at some point in the 1960's, so the marks are sometimes seen together.

Regards, Tom

Fantastic! I did not expect such prompt response to my posting and for the origin of the brooch to be identified so quickly. Have cleaned the brooch up a bit more (which I should have done in the first place) and revealed the date code of 1967 which fits in perfectly with the history of Kalevala Koru and Kaunis Koru.
Many thanks to you both, Tom and Silverport, for your help!
Best regards,
hellgeo
