Please help identify this makers mark on sterling cuff

Post by rob h »

The mark looks like Jobst or jobsk. I am guessing the cuff is scandinavian.
Please help me identify the maker and country !

Thanks
Rob H

Googling comes up with Kurt Jobst but can't find much info on him.

Dear Valkrie Vixen, thanks. I did a google image search and came up with some pictures of pieces attributed to Kurt Jobst with the same markings. He was born in Germany in 1905 and moved Johannesburg, South Africa in the mid 1930s. He died in 1971.
