Help needed to identify this mark on Norwegian cufflinks

These cufflinks were my grandfathers. I'm pretty sure, judging from the hallmark listing that this is Benard Mendahl (or Bernard Meldah ...or Bernard Meldah)
The probem is, after much searching for his history on the web I can't locate him anywhere ...including Norwegian language sites!

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome.

Believe his name was spelled Bernard Meldah.
Post WWII jewelry designer and silversmith from Oslo Norway.
I think Hans Myhre purchased both the Bernard Meldah and Hroar Prydz companies in the 1960's (not 100% sure of this date).

He was known for his fine enamel work.

I'm still unable to find him mentioned anywhere ...even in the listing under Den Storre Norske Leksikon (the Big Norwegian Dictionary) in handcrafts after 1900. ...And, not to flog a flogged horse, Meldah strikes me as a very un-Norwegian name. I have a higher degree in Scandinavian studies (...yes, people do get degrees in this field) and I've never come across a Norwegian name ending with "...ah." Now, "...dahl", you can't throw a dried cod in a crowd without hitting someone with this illustrious ending to his or her surname!

Perhaps poor Meldah was a simply a minor figure in the history of Norwegian silver? These cufflinks are nice pieces, though.

His name was BERNHARD MELDAHL. He died in 1950 and Hans Myhre bougth the workshop.
