Unknown Silversmith "935 B.C." on enamel belt buck

Postby Odysseus » Tue Sep 30, 2008 3:35 am

I have an enamel guilloche belt buckle, reminds me of style of fabergè, but where is it from, and how old is it?

I read "935 Crown B.C. or B.G. ", but I think Fabergè never signed with 935...I researched european

on the reverse of the belt buckle i also found these number scratched "K 244/264"

It would be very nice, if there are helpful users!

Greetings

It's german(crescent moon/crown) probably 1910-1930. That's all I can come up with for now.

Thanx,

i expected that it is european. Is there a connection to Fabergè?

Are there so many comanies in Europe or Germany who created enamel guilloche belt buckles around 1920???? No chance to recover the puzzle of the letters B.C. or B.G.?

Greetings
