Hallmarks are confusing?!

Post by Jadeyadam »

Hi

I have a lovely looking silver charm bracelet however i am unsure of the hallmarks which are shown and also detailed is the makers initials which are (ASJ).

Can anyone tell me who ASJ are?, and also i would like clarification on the date of the item?, all i have gathered is this is British, London hallmark but am unsure as to the letter (E).

Also on this bracelet there is a charm which has a hallmark which i belive is Birmingham but again i am confused by the letter (H)

Thankyou in advance!

Hello.

Your locket is London, 1979. Your ingot is Bermingham, 1982.

The makers' marks for these could be anyone as the text books only deal with makers, generally, pre-1900.

Hope this is of help.

Rgds
