ingot Pendant

Hello, I know UK silver ingot pendants, but what about this one? No silver mark, so why is gold plated? Have you ever met pendants like this? Thanks for any info.

I suspect it's gold-plated on a base metal. The marks are not a British gold mark and, as you point out, not a silver mark either.

Thank you, Phil. Could you please try to date it? Any anniversary ?

Hi,
Looks custom made;only the original owner can decipher the meaning of initials and numbers.

Impossible to date but a lot of sterling silver ingot pendants with feature hallmarks were produced around the time of the Silver Jubilee (1977).

Yes, all we can read is VR (Victoria Regina) and 1887 (Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria, 20 June 1887). The rest is unknown.
Thank you, Phil and AG2012.
