FOB or Necklace Marked HB?

Pleae help me identify this , I don't see this mark. This is a chain made of a copper and silver open ended link suttered together to form a bicolor link. It is only Marked HB on the outside and a figure star like faded mark and PATENT on the inside of the closure, no silver content mark is visible.
