Hallmark identification on 925 ring with pearl

Can someone please help me identify what the hallmark is on this ring? I found it today while I was out metal detecting! I have been searching the internet for over an hour and I give up! As for a description, it looks like a small dot or perhaps an oval followed by two greater than ">" signs (followed by "925"). Good luck and thanks for the help!
