SV Makers mark help on Sterling fox head ring

I've recently acquired a ring in the shape of a fox head marked Sterling with a makers mark that looks like SV connected. I cannot find any info on the makers mark. I found a photo of a ring online with the same makers mark, in the shape of a horse head, but It had no info on the maker attached . It was marked 925 instead of Sterling.
