Large Alligator Pin-Pendant-Maker Help Please

We hope this is American made but we are not sure. We have searched for this hallmark but were unable to find it.
It is approximately 5 7/8" long and 3" wide. It weighs 51 grams. It must be hollow or it would be heavier. It is marked 925 and has a gold vermeil along its top and the tops of its feet.
Hopefully someone will recognize this mark or type of work.
