SILVER CZ RING REQUIRES ID OF SILVER IN BAND

Hey guys

Really glad I found this site as you all seem a really decent bunch and the amount of knowledge here is ubelievable!!!

Cleaned up this old Solitare style ring (tested definitely not diamond stone).

Seems a really old piece. I'm a RELATIVELY experienced amateur fixer upper of jewellery so I know a bit.

However, the only hallmark this bears is simply 'SILVER'.

Not magnetic.

Any help from anyone in relation to its history would be extremely helpful.

Welcome to the Forum.

Sorry you never got a response, but I don't think there's much than can be added due of the lack of hallmarks or maker's marks, with the exception that it's likely to be a 20th century piece.

Hopefully you'll have better luck with your gold item.
