This ring appears to have an aquamarine stone in the center setting. It has three rows of 5 stones on either side of the center stone which appear to be diamonds. I can't tell what the first mark of the initial is. The marking is 825 ?AS. Can you identify this piece?

It's 925 and FAS. From what I've seen FAS is a foreign manufacturer, they did a lot of sterling jewelry with blue topaz, amethyst, citrine, garnet, peridot and the like in the 80s-90s. It could be a light blue topaz rather than aqua. The white stones are likely CZ or possibly white sapphire but they'd have to be tested.

That is the mark of an asian company that mass produced pieces from the 1970's throgh 2000. I have not seen their mark on items lately. Mostly sold through Kohls, Walmart, Sears... other big box stores. It would be a blue topaz (they tend to fade over time to almost clear.) At least their pieces with cubic zirconia are usually marked as such.

Thanks so much for the information! I'm really happy to know what the markings mean and the identification of the stones as well.
Thanks,
Sidhe
