Hallmark ID Request for Modernist Sterling Israeli Brooch

Dear Folks,

I need assistance in finding the identity of the maker's hallmark on this sterling brooch. I was told that the brooch was from Israel. The hallmark is on the reverse of the brooch with arrow indicator in the last photo.

Are you sure the brooch is Israeli? I can't really see the mark clearly in the photos, but it looks a bit like the mark for Finn Jensen, Oslo, Norway.



Just a guess.

That doesn't look like Jensen's work - he had a line of mostly enameled jewelry. Also, his pieces would not have been signed just 'sterling,' but '925S Sterling Norway.'

I can not see the mark very clearly, though; any chance it might be Silpada?
