Ring Marked Sterling, Maker? mark between ster and ling

Hello! First time using this forum, I hope I do the link thing right.......

I have this sterling ring, marked on the inside STER LING with a makers? mark inbetween the Ster and Ling, looks like SW or WS. The bottom of what I think is an S is worn. Anyone recognize this maker?
