Need hallmark WL in shield identified

Postby hightechredneck » Thu Jan 01, 2009 5:14 am

Hope i did this correctly. Great site by the way.
I have been looking for this one for a long time and cannot find it anywhere. Can someone help. There maybe another horizontal line above the shield and on the reverse it reads sterling & 14Kt, all precious metal

Hi,

It is the maker's mark of Walter Lampl, NY, NY. Active in the 30's through 50's as "Manufacturers of gold and silver semi-precious stone set costume jewelry; platinum and gold Waldemar and sautoir chains".

Hope that helped,

Alain
