Sterling silver ring makers mark ID

Hi all,
This is a child's ring and I can't ID the mark below "STERLING". I couldn't see anything like it on this site. Using a loupe I can see that there is an ampersand (&) in the center of the mark. I though that it was a ':' at first. I can't see any other detail on either side of the '&'. There is no lettering or anything.
Does anyone have an ID for the mark and maybe an approximate age?
