Dress Clip Help Please

I have searched books and online sites and had this on a few forums. I know what it is, can't find the mark anywhere. I think it says T&G but then again it could be a J fancy U and a I don't know.

I think it is too light to be aluminum. I don't know of the sites with lists like that, could you point me in the right direction please?
