Can anyone identify the mark on this teapot please?

looks like it reads in two vertical columns, starting on the right: "Shi Dabin zhi", where Shi is the maker's surname, Dabin the given name, and zhi means manufactured by

Yes Spammenot, thanks very much for the info. I recognised the 'Da' symbol from Chinese porcelain, but that just made me think that it might be badly-done pseudo marks.

Thanks again for cracking the Dabin zhi code.
