The ring is made of silver and is quite soft. It was found almost 40 years ago and I am now trying to find out what the markings are. I might have some idea what the top portion means. I believe it may be written in chinese of kanji characters and the meaning is along the line of "silver" or "pure silver". The botton portion of mark seems to be a pictorial of some sort but is hard to tell unless you know what your looking at. Any information on this ring or its mark would be very helpful, thank you
