Japanese silver flask translation

Post by Ag999 »

Looks like silver, and it says "SILVER" on the bottom.

What does it say below that, in the Japanese characters?

thanks

Also, on the original box are these characters. I know the top one is jungin (silver) but what is the lower one?

Okay, I've found out that the lower character is "made." So it's "silver made," or "made of silver."

I'd still like to know the bottom line of the middle image. Likely the maker?

And now I've been told (by someone on another forum) what the characters say:

" 伊勢丹謹製 - Isetan Kinsei - Carefully Made by Isetan

Isetan is one of the most prestigious department stores in Japan."
