I do have a silver box that I would like to identify. Might it come from China? Any information would be much appreciated, thank you!

Great find RedMask, this mark certainly looks like the mark in the previous topic.

When I enter "紋良" into google translate, it spits out "Wenliang" as the English translation (appears to be a name?). Is anyone able to verify that this does indeed mean "fine quality" silver as stated in the previous topic? Assuming it does translate to "fine quality" silver, there is a good chance the other mark is the name of the silversmith.

For reference the Chinese marks I have come across for fine/sterling silver are:

纯银 "pure silver"
純銀 "pure silver"
足銀 "pure silver"

Note that in this case "pure silver" often does not indicate 0.999 silver. The examples I have seen are in the range of 0.800 to 0.925.

Just wanted to add that entering the characters separately into google translate gives the following results:

紋 "Pattern"
良 "good"
