mystery can: tin jewel precious stones yogi box

Sorry, this looks like silver, but does not test as silver. Its origin is a complete mystery to me. Age unknown.

3.75" tall. No markings. Naked faux yogis, some with man chests, some with woman chests. Semi-precious stones (which look quite nice, considering the box is not real silver.)

Any ideas? Have you ever seen anything similar?

I've had a few of these, although never with the semi-precious stones :: The height is just large enough to stand up cigarettes, and in very humid countries this would be needed to prevent moisture from getting into the tobacco in the cigarettes ::: or it was used just to store the loose tobacco :

I've seen/owned these from India, Burma, Siam (Thailand), Mexico :::: I am guessing Siam (Thailand) for this one, could be India too :
