No maker mark

I have a cup with only one mark. Is it city Perpignan? Hard to find something more about it.

Looks like mark has far ear up, whiskers to far side, and longer tail...but it's probably just one general image reference. You might have the correct "rat by the tail". It might take a while longer for a more knowledgeable assessment to drop in here.

Not France. What is the rectangular rubbed or erased mark to the left in your image? Have you considered 20thC Japan? Perhaps changing to another forum will yield results.
