Seek to learn about my Chinese Teapot

This teapot has been in my family for over 70 years. In my efforts to learn more about it I have had little success except to recognize with reasonable confidence what appears to be the Chinese silver standard mark (right center mark).

I am reluctant to seek help as a new member of a forum, but after several visits here I recognize that this is a place with a genuine interest and appreciation of such inquiries, so I'm happy to share some images with you as well as hoping to learn about this piece that I find very intrigueing.
