Continental Butter Knife

Hello,
I acquired this butter knife and technically it should be silver as it has an 800 mark, however I am not really sure, so pardon if I have posted my query in the wrong section. The only mark is a triangle with what seems to be KD over 800. I am suspecting this could be Dutch in origin?? Can anyone give me any info as to the real nature of the marks?
