Chinese silver set

Postby Lars » Mon Aug 26, 2013 9:50 am

Hi,
I have this chinese silver set (originally without knives) for 12.
I presume it's from Hong Kong or Shanghai. The set is very interesting because every piece has different motive.
There is only one hallmark in chinese, so it's a little bit hard to do research on my own, because I have no idea what those symbols stand for.
If anyone is familiar with chinese hallmarks, I would appreciate any info.
Thanks

It looks like Hong Kong, 3rd quarter of the 20th century, but the motifs are reminiscent of Southeast Asian or Vietnamese work of the same period.

The marks are not clear enough for my eyes, a better close-up might help. Someone else may be able to make them out.

Regards

davidross,
thank you very much for help.
As picture of hallmark, it was very hard to make them, because they are very small and not so sharp.
