I also have some brass being mixed metal. From middle east viewtopic.php?f=12&t=28117
a very different tecknique and not so sophisticated. The brass I have later supplied with a granate WW1 of the type Trench Art and a few other plates. But not silver so let the cigaret etui be the subject of this writing.

Where do I find information on how to post an image? Do I have to copy the images onto a image host like picase or photobucket? Perhaps I will try that. Is there a recommended image size?

This is the mark of Komai Seibei son or Komai Otojiro. The Komai family is one of the best known of those who practiced the art of nunome zogan.

Thank you for your welcome. And as it turns out your cigarette case is made with shakudo. Shakudo is not a technique and instead it is an alloy of copper and gold. I have responded to your post.
