Need help with origins

Guess the spoons are from somewhere in South America? but I really have no idea.

In the third photo, the marks look very much like a South East Asian script, such as Khmer or Thai.

Sorry that I can't be of more help than suggesting this post be moved to the Far East board.

I agree with DR that the script and design looks Khmer (Cambodia) or possibly Thai; Burma would be another guess. Also, the style of the bowl and tip of the handle look much like a spoon I have from Indochine (modern-day Vietnam). Hope this helps -
