Eastern Ladle

Hi - Can anyone help identify this large silver ladle with huge oval bowl. It is 11.5 inches long and the nicely decorated handle is is hollow. The makers mark MOL is stamped in the bowl. I think it is from the Far East, but not sure.

Hi John:

This spoon looks Thai to me, but I'm not familiar with the mark. Hopefully someone else can help with the translation. I would guess that it is a maker's mark.
