Please help me identify this Asian Motif Tea Set - Marks are Chinese or Japanese symbols and the Letters HO or OH - Bamboo look handle and teapot top - area for monogram or engraving - Asian warriors trees buildings etc. - creamer looks like it has a more peaceful village scene! Any help would be greatly appreciated - I assume it might be silverplate - but it is lovely with bone or ivory accent on the handle. - Many thanks!
Hi, It is Chinese Export silver, probably made 1875-1900. I've not been able to find an attribution to that maker's mark, think it is OH rather than HO. Regards, Tom
You are a gentleman & a Scholar! :) I appreciate the time you took to reply. I have been curious about it since I first received it. It is a shame the lid for the sugar is lost! Ah, well! Thanks again! Eileen
