Egyptian bracelet middle east need hallmark help

This lovely bracelet has me stumped. I believe it to be egyptian due to the cat in the center but can completely id this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you all!

The first mark shows the city (unreadable) above the purity mark - it appears to be 90% - don't have access to info on the "D", the date mark.

Thank you for replying. I do appreciate it. I was in fact wondering about the "d" mark and information seems to be limited. It is not on the home page. I have pretty much exhausted myself researching!

if you'll search the forum for other threads on egyptian marks, it appears from some other contributors that the egyptian gov't keeps that information closed. good luck!

Hello,

This piece is not Egyptian at all. This piece is from Yemen. It is the work of the Bossan people, i.e., the Jews of Yemen, the only people who had the skill to do this work. This piece is called Bossani, of course because of its makers' origin and they are rare to find. There are few craftsmen who can produce such intricate work. The 2nd picture you have taken shows only the rim of the bracelet whereas, I think, a close up picture of the filigree work on the bracelet would have been preferable as it would exhibit the difficulty in the delicate workmanship of this piece. In fact, it is the filigree work on the bracelet that identifies it as Bossani, Yemeni.
